San Francisco Treat

Every year we visit my husband’s family in San Francisco.  We’ve already done a lot of the “obvious” tourist attractions and loved them.  As great as they are, we don’t want to keep doing them over and over each year.  So, we are always on the look out for new things that will make the whole family happy.  This year I planned out a bunch of things for our long weekend.  Well, we almost stuck to plan! click to read more!

Charting Our Greek Destiny

Top Five Family Activities: Hilton Head

Hilton Head is a great family resort area in South Carolina.  Here are our top five things you’ve got to do:  

1.  Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn

This museum is a great little find just as you enter the island.  Admission is free but donations are happily accepted.  They do offer tours and other learning activities that may cost a fee. click here to continue reading!

Ben Franklin and Cleopatra – Where Can You See Them Together?

One of the activities on our “Dream Summer” list was to visit the Cleopatra exhibit at the Franklin Institute.  A few months ago, I heard the exhibit was coming.  I was really excited to see it.  Although I don’t know much about Cleopatra, I expected to find out what an electrifying and powerful woman she was.  I expected to be motivated by her story and compelled to do something awe-inspiring with my life using her as a role model!   Click here to continue reading!
